Pricing

Pricing depends on a number of factors. What you want done, coat type, length and condition, behaviour of the dog. I don't price according to the size of the dog. I give you an estimate over the phone and a final price once I see the dog.

What services do you provide?

Anything from nail clipping to a full, breed standard groom.

• Skin check for fleas, skin irritations, lumps and bumps.
• Nail clipping.
• Paw pad clearing.
• Ear cleaning and ear health check.
• Eye area - clean and tidy-up.
• Sanitary area - clean and tidy-up.
• Brush out.
• Mat removal.
• Coat thinning.
• Undercoat removal (particualrly Spring & Autumn when double-coated dogs 'blow' their coats).
• Wash.
• Blowdry.
• Clipping.
• Scissoring.
• Maintenance full groom (not breed standard).
• Style of your choice full groom (not breed standard).
• Breed standard full groom.

I will highlight to you, any abnormalities I spot, which should be checked by a qualified Veterinarian for diagnosis and treatment.

​Training for Grooming and Vet visits
I also provide specific training for dogs who find certain aspects of grooming stressful, or who will not allow themselves to be groomed at all. Positive reinforcement and choice based methods used only. No behavioural restraints used. Fear Free® Certified.

What products do you use?

I use HOWND shampoos, conditioners and skin, nose and paw balms. They are more expensive but exactly what I was looking for.
These natural, plant based, pH-balanced products are certified by Cruelty Free International, accredited by PETA Cruelty Free, the Vegetarian (Vegan) Society and The Ethical Company Organisation. They do not contain alcohol, parabens, soaps or SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) either.
And no, I'm not getting paid to promote them. And yes, they do a brilliant job!

​Private well water used. So no chlorine present.

What equipment do you use?

Hydraulic bath and table which can accommodate any size/weight of dog.
Specialist dog grooming, hand-held blowdryers.
I use safety equipment, to ensure your dog does not fall or hurt themselves. I do not use additional behavioural restraints. I don't use cage or crate dryers and I don't crate your dog before or after the groom. They are allowed to roam around freely, within the safely enclosed area.

will there be other dogs there?

No. I only groom by appointment, to give each dog the individual attention they deserve and to maximise your dog's safety and minimise their stress. Other dogs from the same household are welcome to sit in on the groom, if that will be of benefit to the dog.
